Reasonable solution of 12 Hours shift Job...!

Few data of India

  • Population 135 crore
  • Educational institutions increases with the population
  • Job scope yet to commensurate
  • government servants 60 lacs
  • Pensioners 70 lacs

wherever from the pension money comes but it reflects that 60 lacs people support 70 lacs pensioners.

Refined data 2023
  • Population 139 crore (as per us)
  • Population 145 crore ( as per world metre)
  • Government servants 48.67 lacs
  • Pensioners 67.95 lacs
Actually I am ashamed to be a central government benifit taker out of 139 or 145 crores.
This number can be more with present infrastructure optimum use as describe below.
-----------------------------------------------
I think 12 hours working hours should be in two halves
(6 hours + 6 hours)= 12 Hours

Similarly 24 hours working hours should be in quadra part
(6 hours + 6 hours + 6 hours + 6 hours)= 24 hours.
-----------------------------------------------
  • For charge handover a Duty log book need to be maintained regularly.
  • 12 hours 6 days work is possible.. without any hazards in Employees daily life.
  • Same infrastructure more use.
  • Volume of work will increase.
  • Number of Employees will increase as per suitability...110 lacs to 120 lacs.
  • This should require approval of finance department ofcourse.
  • As work volume increases wrt. Number of Employees therefore, not much deviation on GDP.
  • Medically proven a person can do work upto 5-30 Hrs. preferably or suitably.
  • Ultimately  the Habitual Truth is
  • One day length on Earth is 24 Hours.....& we can't buy or sell time it's fixed quantity.
  • On the other hand it is also true that physical & mental stamina differs person to person, age to age.
It has so many other benefits which will come-up on review.
Please read the following:-

------------------------------------------------

Factories Act, 1948

As per the Factories Act 1948, every

adult(a person who has completed 18

years of age) cannot work for more than 48 hours in a week and not more than 9 hours in a day. According to Section 51 of the Act, the spread over should not exceed 10-1/2 hours.

Minimum Wages Act, 1948

The Minimum Wages Act, 1948 also specifies about the working hours under the rules 20 to 25 that the number of work hours in a day should not exceed 9 hours for an adult.

Under Sec. 33 it is mentioned that for overtime wages are to be paid at the rate of twice the ordinary rates of wages of the worker. It mentions that the employer can take actual work on any day upto 9 hours in a 12 hours shift. But he must pay double the rates for any hour or part of an hour of actual work in excess of nine hours or for more than 48 hours in any week.

Sec. 14 of the Act mentions that any worker whose minimum rate of wages are fixed with wage period of time, such as by hour, by the day or by any such period and if a worker works more than that number of hours, it is considered to be overtime. In case if the number of hours constituting a normal working day exceeds the given limit, then the employer will have to pay him for every hour or for part of an hour for which he has worked in excess at the overtime rate.

Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970

As per Rule 79 of the Act, it is compulsory for every contractor to maintain a Register of Overtime in Form XXIII which will contain all details relating to overtime calculation, hours of extra work, name of employee, etc.

Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment Service) Act, 1996

Under Section 28 & 29 of the Act, it is mentioned that worker who is working overtime will be paid Overtime wages at the rate of twice the ordinary rate of wages.

Plantation Labour Act, 1951

As per section 19 of the Act where an adult worker works in any plantation on any day in excess of the number of hours constituting a normal working day or for more than 48 hours in any week, he/she shall, in respect of such overtime work, be entitled to twice the rates of ordinary wages. Provided that no such worker shall be allowed to work for more than 9 hours on any day and more than 54 hours in any week.

How many hours should I work?

This is our own general answer as long as the body moves.  But see what the various rules above say.  They say that you will work 48 hours a week and the (work) day's work should not exceed 9 hours in any case.  If you work more than 9 hours, you will get overtime which is twice your normal pay.

I say why do you work so much?

Look at school-colleges, how many hours of classes are there in school-colleges, five and a half hours or six hours.  do you know why?  Because our students have to go home and study.  It depends on how much work the brain can do.
But when we work in a factory it is something that we completely forget.
This means that if you are out of the factory, you will have no other work.  You will rest, or you will sleep.

Think for yourself, usually you can not do this?  That means there is a lot of work left which you have to handle yourself?
I say sustainable development will happen then only when we give employment to every unemployed person in our country and those who are working 8 hours, 9 hours or more will be reduced to 6 hours.

Work will be done in two shifts and where 8 hours are running in 3 shifts, there will be 4 shifts in 6 hours.
Employees will be more or more double.

It will bring the following changes

1. More hands more works
2. Same infrastructure double use
3. More volume of works more GDP
4. More time to look after senior citizens.
5. Salary as government decide and finance approved norms.

But one thing everyone should understand that if doctors say to sleep 8 hours in 24 hours and working country like Japan can mean more improvement then why we need to make our family life miserable for some money.

Below are the working hours of some countries.

Germany Population less than India  working hours 48

Japan Population less than India working hours 40

 US working hours 40

 Russia working hours 40

 United Kingdom working hours 48

Much of this depends on the average life expectancy of the country's people, the country's geographical location, weather, work capacity and tendency to uphold some old rules.
If sustainable development is to be brought about in a country like India, then 36 hours is probably the most acceptable.
Our goal should be to bring 36 hours of work to the private sector from the public sector of Greater Lumding.
In my opinion, if more people work 6 hours in private and public sectors and make income online the rest of the time, then the foreign exchange income of the country will increase.
It's not wise that we will talk about Sustainable Development and follow different countries adoption of Rule in different matters.
Let's calculate our every opportunities on per capita basis then adopt something.
Now NIC- National information Center is there. Network services and best computers & clouds are there..so not a big issue to make calculations on per capita basis for the whole nation first (Not sector wise) then decide.
It's biggest advantage is that it can be done sitting at home or Work from Home.

Interestingly while we inhibit on Mars and our civilization grew following issues will be there.

1. One day length on Mars 24 hours 37 minutes as per earth time calculation.

2. But oxygen concentration ie.,  air available there is of  low density.

------- We may need to take more sleeping hours to rejuvenate ourselves.

Though it depends on our acclimatization and metabolism.....

👉Let us take 10 hours of sleeping as standard.

👉24 hours 37 minutes one day

👉3 shift per day with 10 hours sleeping.

👉Each shift length is around 4 hours 47 min say 4 hours 45 minutes.

👉During night it will be very difficult to work during first few 100 years.
